A$AP Rocky is currently being sued for the alleged shooting that resulted in his arrest months back, and the man who claims to be the victim is the rapper’s former group member. Terell Ephron, a former member of the A$AP Mob who went by the name “A$AP Relli,” is suing Rocky for assault and battery. Ephron believes the incident occurred on November 6 in Hollywood, where he claims Rocky arranged a meeting and started a verbal altercation that resulted in gunfire.
According to the documents, Ephron claims that during the argument, Rocky pulled out a handgun, pointed it at him, and pulled the trigger, firing multiple shots that struck Ephron with fragments of bullets. Ephron alleges that he needed medical attention for hand injuries. Recall that A$AP was detained by police at LAX in April when he stepped off his private flight from Barbados and was handcuffed.
Rocky was detained on charges of assault with a deadly weapon stemming from the gunshot on November 6; the alleged victim stated Rocky fired multiple shots at him, at least one of which grazed his hand. Rocky knew the suspected victim, according to the police. The A$AP Mob and Relli have a history of animosity, with A$AP Bari alleging that Relli tipped off Rocky, which resulted in Rocky’s incarceration.
According to Relli, a significant chunk of the shooting incident was captured on camera, consistent with what LAPD sources informed the media when it was initially reported in April that police had video of the purported shooting. Ephron is suing Rocky for damages because, in his words, he keeps experiencing emotional pain due to the shooting and is missing out on work. A$AP Rocky’s team has not responded as of yet.
