A$AP Rocky Enters A Not Guilty Plea To The Felony Gun Charges In The A$AP Relli Shooting

U.S. rapper and Rihanna’s beau, A$AP Rocky has officially plead not guilty to two felonies involving assault with a semi-automatic weapon.

The plea was required after a judge decided that there was sufficient evidence to support a trial based on an alleged 2021 gunfight after he got into an altercation with fellow A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli. The plea was filed during his arraignment on Monday, January 8, in a Los Angeles, California courtroom.

According to Rolling Stone, Rocky’s attorney Joe Tacopina, who is also defending Donald Trump in New York on allegations the former president fabricated financial paperwork, is “confident” that his client will be found not guilty.

Tacopina added that the rapper of “Praise the Lord,” Rakim Mayers, is excited to see his family, especially the two kids he has with Rihanna, when he returns home. Rocky is charged with shooting at A$AP Relli, a longtime acquaintance, in Hollywood in 2021 after a “heated argument.”

Relli claims that after Rocky supposedly promised to assist the family of a A$AP Mob member who had died, but never followed through, tensions between the two erupted.

In 2021, during a meeting held in a hotel in Los Angeles, Relli asserts A$AP Rocky came over with a group of men, aimed a gun at his stomach, and threatened to murder him immediately.
