With the purchase of a new Land Rover, singer Adekunle Gold has joined the group of those ringing in the new year with new possessions. This is happening just a few days before the singer’s birthday. AG Baby, on Instagram, shared a picture of the recent acquisition. The singer made himself comfortable on the car’s hood with its doors open as he flashed a smile of obvious fulfillment.
He also received a ton of kind words and compliments from his industry pals in the post’s comment section. What was particularly heartwarming about the post was his caption, taken from his smash record “Pick Up,” released eight years ago. “#babaGodeminafewarange,” he wrote, referring to when he prayed for this moment. To add to the rich flex, the new ride was parked right outside the car dealership!
AG keeps winning, as this recent news came after his AFRIMA win a week ago. At the award ceremony, he bagged not one but two awards! He took home Best Act Group in African contemporary music and Best Act, Duo, or Group in African Pop for his collaboration with Davido on the hit song “High.”
