Alicia Keys’ “Voice Crack” Removed From NFL Video Of Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Alicia Keys appeared during the Super Bowl on February 11 during Usher’s halftime show. As the performance began, Keys sang the opening lyrics of her 2003 song, “If I Ain’t Got You.” Her vocals appeared shaky—a moment that was observed by some fans. Although she continued singing on key, it did not go unnoticed, and some viewers shared their observations on social media. However, it appears that the National Football League (NFL) may have edited the off-key portion of the official performance video uploaded to their YouTube page, which some viewers have noticed. While some viewers have seen the pitch correction, the NFL has not yet provided any comment on this matter.

Apart from this, the halftime show was a star-studded event featuring several performances. In addition to Keys and Usher’s version of their 2004 collaboration, “My Boo,”  the show also included performances by H.E.R., Will.i.am, Lil Jon and Ludacris, who each took to the stage to perform some of their best hits. Usher’s halftime show also featured a roller-skating rendition of “Bad Girl” and a tribute to the late Aaron Spears, Usher’s longtime drummer, honoured as an empty drum kit on stage. Before the Super Bowl, Usher released a brand-new album, “Coming Home,”  featuring artists such as Burna Boy, Latto, and Jungkook. Furthermore, the R&B star is set to embark on a US summer tour to entertain his fans nationwide.
