Alicia Keys Acquires A Trademark For Her “Alicia Teas” Tea Brand

After registering a new trademark for a range of teas, Alicia Keys is spilling the beans.

The Grammy-winning musician obtained the rights to the name “Alicia Teas,” a present from her producer husband Swizz Beatz. AK Worldwide, the singer’s company, registered the trademark to protect the moniker, which is a play on her own name, according to paperwork obtained by TMZ.

Swizz presented Keys with the line of teas as a surprise during the gift-giving ceremony for her birthday in 2020. The rapper had already anticipated that his wife’s teas will eventually be in Starbucks for the enjoyment of both tea lovers and supporters.

Another wonderful milestone for the composer this year was moving forward with her Alicia Teas line. The “Girl on Fire” singer announced in August that her five most popular Keys Soulcare products would be officially stocked in Ulta Beauty’s “What We Are Loving” section.

Favorite skincare items including the VIRAL Let Me Glow Illuminating Serum, Golden Cleanser, Truly Becoming Multi-Benefit Peptide Serum, Original Skin Transformation Cream, and Protect Your Light Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 are among the available goods.

2020 saw the launch of Keys’ lifestyle brand as a joint venture with e.l.f. Beauty.
