Asake’s 70K Concert Tickets For Regular Is Now Sold-Out
The man of the moment, Asake, the Neo-Fuji sensation from Nigeria, is causing a stir with the ticket prices for his forthcoming concert in Lagos, Nigeria. The online uproar began when show promoters announced the prices for his concert, which will take place at Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, on the 22 of December. The cost of regular tickets for the event, dubbed “Mr. Money With Vibe Feat,” was pegged at N70,000, while the highest price for VVIP tickets reportedly ranged from N4 million to N10 million.
Nigerian fans went amok on Twitter, criticizing the high prices the tickets go for, but to the amazement of everyone, especially those that ‘canceled’ the show, YBNL boss and rapper, Olamide, put out an announcement that stated that the Asake’s Eko show has just sold out. The revelation threw more chaos into the already-existing chaos, putting Asake back on the trend table.
It turns out that many fans and supporters can afford the tickets even at such high rates. This comes after Asake’s UK tour run ended with three sold-out shows at the 02 Brixton, though complications arose at the last show, where about four attendees were injured due to a crazy stampede. As a result, the show was reportedly canceled.
