BabyMonster’s Ahyeon Set To Rejoin Group After Debut Miss

Baby Monster’s record company, YG Entertainment, has said that Ahyeon, a group member before their pre-debut, is rejoining. Ahyeon has returned to the K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER, according to a shocking revelation on YouTube by Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of YG Entertainment. Originally scheduled to perform with BabyMonster, Ahyeon was forced to postpone it for “health reasons.” With the release of their debut single, “Batter Up,” BabyMonster made their public debut in November 2023. Since then, it’s surpassed Aespa’s record to become the most-viewed debut K-pop music video in 24 hours.

He said,

“Ahyeon has fully recovered her health and as of today, [she] is back at YG,”

“She’s currently recording songs for the album. I wanted to share this joyful news with you as soon as possible and that’s why I’m addressing everyone like this.

The girl group BabyMonster will rerecord two of their previously recorded songs, including their debut single “Batter Up” and an unreleased track called “Stuck in the Middle,” to include Ahyeon, the group’s newest member, according to a recent interview with Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of YG Entertainment. Yang Hyun-suk also pledged that new music production will happen much faster because YG Entertainment has hired forty to fifty additional in-house producers, up from roughly ten.

He said that BabyMonster’s debut mini-album would be published on April 1, and their new single, “Stuck in the Middle,” would be available on February 1. The first full-length album by the group should be out in the fall. A “mood teaser” for the next song, “Stuck in the Middle,” has also been posted by BabyMonster, giving fans a sneak peek at the instrumental portion of the song.
