The seventh week of the BBNaija All Stars show has begun, and a new Head of House has been elected. After playing their round of games, one of the new housemates, Omashola, was elected Head of House for the seventh week. Omashola, a BBNaija All Stars house guest, is now the newest Head of House on the reality show, much to the delight of viewers. Because Omashola’s HOH victory came soon after Doyin’s declaration that he wouldn’t win the title until the end of the show, there was online jubilation. Later, the names of the five housemates facing eviction—Venita, Doyin, Ilebaye, Whitemoney, and Kim Oprah—were revealed.
In typical BBNaija fashion, the housemates flocked to the Arena on a Monday night to choose the new Head of House to succeed Doyin, who had won the position the week before. Big Brother named Omashola the new Head of House for the week following their HOH games. The winning houseguest performed his victory dance, which he claimed to have spent hours perfecting. The announcement by Omashola’s co-star Doyin that he would not become Head of House until he left the show was followed by a few hours before Omashola won the title.
The Head of House is tasked with choosing four additional housemates who will share in the benefits of his victory, such as staying in the HOH lounge with its private kitchen and other perks. Oddly, Omashola made Mercy Eke, Whitemoney, Ilebaye, and CeeC his BFFs for the upcoming week.
After the Head of House competitions, the housemates played their Black Envelope game, which involved looking for hidden black envelopes with rewards or punishments. Adekunle discovered an envelope that granted him immunity, while Whitemoney found a black envelope that automatically nominated him for eviction. Following the Black Envelope game, the housemates entered the diary room to suggest three of their co-stars for potential eviction.
After the nomination rounds, Ilebaye, Doyin, Venita, Kim Oprah, and Whitemoney were the housemates named up for eviction. On social media, Omashola’s HOH victory and the housemates facing eviction created a huge uproar. While many people celebrated Omashola’s victory, others thought the nomination field was competitive.
