In a heartfelt letter to his deceased friend, Bella Shmurda revealed that he was still in disbelief at his passing and had become an alcoholic following the death of his friend. Shmurda also promised Mohbad that he would care for his little kid. He committed to letting Liam continue Mohbad’s heritage in due time. Bella Shmurda shared a photo of his late pal Mohbad and wrote:
“You told me to stop it [mourning] .I have been trying. I just hope you’re okay where you are, cos I have not been happy for days. I have been drinking and going back and forth on how to move on.
“It’s sad that Abiola Imole never get to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son] . I’m passing all the love to our sons.
“Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.”

He left the label in 2022 because of a falling out with the head of the label.
