Netizens React To New Bella Shmurda Tribute Video For Late Friend, Mohbad
Netizens have given mixed reactions to the latest gesture of solidarity that Bella Shmurda has engaged in following the death of his friend, Mohbad. The late Afrobeat singer’s best friend has elicited strong reactions as he released another song in tribute to the ex-Marlian signee. The musician, who has been agitating for justice over the death of his friend, released a new song, “High Blood Pressure,” following the earlier release of “My Brother,” and his anguish and resilience can be heard in the lines of the lyrics. The singer has since seen a wave of support for the snippet of music posted on his Instagram page.
However, many have accused him of “milking the loss” of Mohbad for his personal gains, as they point out that during the first week of Mohbad’s death announcement, he made a series of tweets implying that he had a few things to say that would lead to the apprehension of those with a hand in Imole’s death and even called out Naira Marley on social media. However, since Naira Marley and Sam Larry surrendered and were arrested, and with the police inviting Bella to come to their station if he had evidence to help with the case, no update from him has come out again except for his music.
