Bobby Brown Remembers Late Son In Emotional IG Post
In a heartfelt post, famed American musician Bobby Brown paid tribute to his late son Bobby Brown Jr., who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 28. During the weekend of November 25, the musician and songwriter posted a picture of himself with Bobby Jr. on Instagram. He captioned the image with a brown heart emoji, and many responded with sincere messages of solidarity.
The body was found in November 2020 when Los Angeles police arrived at a home in Encino at around 1:50 p.m. in response to an unreported medical emergency. According to a coroner’s report that the BBC obtained, Bobby Jr. overdosed on alcohol, cocaine, and the narcotic fentanyl, which caused his death.
In July 2015, Brown also lost his daughter Bobbi Kristina, Bobby Jr.’s half-sister, after she was discovered unresponsive in a bathtub and remained in a coma for several months. According to the autopsy, the cause of death was “immersion of face in water complicating mixed drug intoxication,” which resulted in lobar pneumonia. Bobbi Kristina passed away three years following her mother Whitney Houston’s death in February 2012.
