Peace At Last: Davido’s Alleged Side Chick, Anita Brown Apologizes To Chioma In Emotional Post
Anita Brown, the rumoured sidekick who caused quite a stir on social media after OBO’s comeback from hiatus, has apologized to Davido and his wife Chioma, so it appears that things are now starting to calm down in the Davido camp.
Davido’s wife, Chioma, has finally received an apology from Anita Brown, the rumored pregnant American sidekick of the Nigerian musician. Brown apologized for criticizing Chioma or her deceased son Ifeanyi in an Instagram post. In addition, she expressed concern over the current course of events in her life and stated that she would only like to be remembered for her “love and light.”
Brown’s apology follows a string of social media statements in which she claimed that Davido was to blame for her pregnancy and was refusing to accept parental responsibility. She also published screenshots of texts she claimed to have had with Davido. Brown’s assertions were refuted by Davido, who said he had never met Brown. Brown, though, is adamant that she is speaking the truth. She claims that she regrets how her betrayal led her to assault another lady and that she is unhappy with everything that has happened. In part, Anita wrote:
“The only thing I will say is I regret that I let my pain and feelings of betrayal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, I apologise to Chioma. I never intended to speak on you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being hurt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling. Moving forward, I would prefer to be known for the light I bring into the world. Peace & Love.”
On social media, responses to Brown’s apologies are conflicted. She has received both recognition and criticism for accepting responsibility for her conduct. Some have even criticized her for being dishonest.
