Carly Rae Jepsen Makes a Splash with New Single ‘Shy Boy’

Grammy-nominated pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen is back on the music scene with her latest single, “Shy Boy.” The track, a vibrant disco anthem infused with a touch of funk, marks Jepsen’s triumphant return during Pride month, adding a splash of her unique magic to the celebrations.

“Shy Boy” is set to be a standout feature in Jepsen’s live set as she embarks on a series of summer tour dates in New York and Los Angeles. Due to overwhelming demand, a third show has been added in Los Angeles, following the immediate sell-out of all previously announced dates.

Produced by James Ford, “Shy Boy” is Jepsen’s first new single since the release of her critically acclaimed album, “The Loneliest Time,” in 2022. The introspective yet effervescent album offered a deep dive into Jepsen’s creative process, building on the multi-layered soundscapes she crafted in her previous works, including 2019’s “Dedicated,” 2020’s “Dedicated Side B,” and 2015’s critically acclaimed “EMOTION.”

Fans of Jepsen will have the opportunity to see her live in a series of special engagements in Los Angeles and New York this summer. The initial four dates, two in each city, sold out instantly, leading to the addition of a third night at The Bellwether in L.A.
