Cynthia Morgan Takes A Swipe At Rudeboy Over An Unpaid Feature

Nigerian musicians Cynthia Morgan and Rudeboy recently got into a public argument, with Morgan accusing the former member of P-Square of not paying him for a feature she completed for his then-girlfriend.

The disagreement started when Rudeboy, real name Paul Okoye, clarified in an Instagram live session that Morgan was never signed to him and was instead signed to his older brother, Jude Okoye, and distanced himself from Morgan. Rudeboy wished Morgan a speedy recovery despite their previous affiliation, which made her doubt his sincerity and bring up their unresolved money disagreement.

Cynthia Morgan shot back, accusing Rudeboy of trying to put his distance from her and raising the question of whether she was sick despite his best wishes. She also brought up the unpaid work she did in 2016 for Rudeboy and his then-girlfriend, who was also signed to him. Unresolved financial issues within the music industry were brought to light by Morgan’s reminder of the unpaid loan.

Morgan expressed her dissatisfaction with the state of affairs in her message to Rudeboy, highlighting the necessity of keeping word and paying debts in the music industry.

The two artists’ public dispute rekindled their animosity toward one another and sparked debate over the parameters of their previous partnership and the obligations that came with it.
