Cynthia Morgan Lashes Out At Jude Okoye Once More Over Unpaid Royalties

Cynthia Morgan, a Nigerian musician, has not stopped criticizing Jude Okoye, the head of her former label, for her royalties. Cynthia posted a picture of the car he gave her in 2013—which she paid for with a mortgage—on her Instagram page.

She said that although Jude had claimed she owed him money and was unproductive for his label, she had received N5 million for her performances at Coke Studio and N1 million for her 11 concerts with Star Trek. Cynthia Morgan made it quite evident that, despite her calm demeanor, she is not a fool when she pointed out that Jude hasn’t yet granted her “her” profits on her intellectual property.

The dancehall celebrity went on to say that she wishes for him to know that he is playing a risky game and has prized God’s hand.

Cynthia Morgan said in 2020 that once she decided to leave the label, Jude took control of all of her social media profiles and removed her identity. Jude refuted this claim with evidence.

Joy Tongo, the former manager of Cynthia Morgan, made public the dancehall singer’s contract with Jude. The four-year contract, which was signed in October 2013, featured a two-year option extension, a 50/50 sharing formula, and no mention of Cynthia Morgan losing her name.
