Davido Drops Dele Momodu Fued; Prostrates To Greet, Fans React

It is usually expected that as people age, maturity will progress as well. David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has done this, setting off a firestorm of controversy after he paid respect to Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation Magazine, with whom he had a falling out years earlier. You might remember that Davido and Mr Momodu fell in 2016 over the latter’s support of his niece Sophia, the singer’s first baby mama.

The media mogul was subsequently called “his boy” by Omo Baba Olowo in a song, which caused a considerable uproar. But seven years after the incident, Davido and the Ovation CEO crossed paths when Davido went to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke’s office. During their encounter, Davido and the Ovation CEO put their past differences aside and engaged in a cordial conversation. This unexpected reunion surprised many, highlighting the power of forgiveness and growth in bridging gaps between individuals.

A viral video depicts the DMW boss bowing to greet before embracing Dele Momodu and giving him a bear hug. His growth was praised by many of his fans after that action that was shared on social media.
