Davido Pauses His Manchester Show To Pay His Respects To The Late Mohbad
David Adeleke, better known as Davido, took a moment to express his condolences to the family of Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023. During his performance, the international superstar paused to mourn the late singer. He addressed his audience, reminding them that superstars and musicians are also human, and they face their own challenges.
This happened during the Manchester leg of his continuing Timeless tour, and it wasn’t the first time he reacted to Mohbad’s death.

He, like the rest of the entertainment business, was taken aback by the suddenness of his death. Furthermore, renowned Nigerian music phenomenon Davido has came forward to support the late singer Mohbad’s bereaved family in a beautiful gesture of solidarity and kindness.
According to Mohbad’s father’s specifications, Davido coordinated a large contribution to aid Mohbad’s grieving family during their time of need by delivering N2 million to the father through someone. Given the circumstances surrounding the rising star’s sudden death, the award-winning artist took it upon himself to ensure that the family received much-needed financial support.
After Mohbad’s funeral, his family released a video thanking the actor for his kind gesture and confirming that he had sent them money and condolences via a representative.
