Davido Mourns His Late Child A Year After His Tragic Passing

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has taken to his social media accounts to express his sorrow over the passing of Ifeanyi Adeleke, his first child. A year ago, Davido and his wife, Chioma, lost their child to the cold grasp of death. At the age of 3, Ifeanyi reportedly drowned at his father’s estate on Banana Island.

After being rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, Ifeanyi was declared dead. Sadly, at the time of this sad occurrence, Chioma and Davido were now out of the state for an important function. Following the regrettable incident, Davido and his spouse decided to disappear from the public eye, rightfully so. The musician didn’t reappear online until early this year.

Davido, who recently welcomed a set of twins with Chioma, paid tribute to his late son Ifeanyi and showed how much he missed him with his recent similar social media posts. The DMW 2.0 label head posted the simple but symbolic emoji of a dove on X (formerly Twitter), representing love, peace, and a heavenly or divine connection.

The same emoji, which he posted on his Instagram story, made it clear that he was marking the anniversary of the terrible loss.

Since the posts went up, Davido has garnered lots of love and sympathy from his fans worldwide.
