Davido Pays The Interior Minister A Courtesy Visit

The Nigerian Federal Minister of Interior received a courtesy call from Afrobeats musician Davido.

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior, received a friendly visit from Grammy-nominated afrobeat artist Davido and his group in Abuja. Sharing pictures from the visit and expressing his happiness at having the gifted musician stay with him, Tunji-Ojo posted on social media. Davido, whose contributions have continuously highlighted Nigeria’s cultural diversity and artistic brilliance abroad, was hailed by the Minister as an ambassador for Nigerian music.

This comes after OBO had dropped the appealing visuals for his hit song “Away,” which featured Real Madrid players. Football stars including Toni Rudiger, David Alaba, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Jr., and Aurélien Tchouaméni made appearances in the music video.

Additionally, Davido declared that his fifth studio album was finished. During Kai Cenat’s live stream, he disclosed this. Davido confirmed that the recording of his new album had been finished during their live chat. He also disclosed that it has six artist features in addition to 15 songs.

As of now, Davido has not released a single from his forthcoming album. Nonetheless, he began 2024 with cameos on Logos Olori’s “Easy On Me” and Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe” remix. Davido also withheld the title of the record and its release window.
