Davido Responds To Yonda’s Plea For Forgiveness
Former DMW signee, Yonda has reached out to his ex-boss, Davido, with soberness and a contriteness of heart, begging and groveling to be taken back. However, the musician also had some laments mixed into his plea as he stated that his career was dead and that he had been ‘blacklisted in the game’ and desperately needed OBO’s assistance to ‘rise again.’ He even called himself a ‘prodigal son,’ stating he was willing to become Davido’s slave again.
Surprisingly, Davido responded to his lengthy text, claiming that he also misses him but that his past actions hurt him. Yonda took a screenshot of their private conversations and shared it on his Insta story, still begging Davido to ‘tamper mercy’ on him and give him a second shot. In addition to the IG story, he also made the screenshot post and, in the caption, said he wishes he could turn back the hands of time.
In 2021, Yonda declared that he had been “violated” by DMW and stated that he wanted to exit the record label. Yonda now tags the person he was that year as “ungrateful” and “irrational.” The desperation is so thick you could cut through it with a machete, but sadly some bridges should not be destroyed.
