Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known by his stage name Wizkid, has made an announcement that has shaken the entire industry and taken fans by surprise. On his official Instagram page, the singer posted on his story hours ago that he would be going on tour with none other than Davido right after he wraps up his “More Love, Less Ego” tour that kicks off in March. This hit the followers of both artists like a hurricane wave because Davido had, in the past, revealed how Wiz wouldn’t do a joint project with him, let alone a tour.

OBO sat down with star host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu for an interview, where he revealed that he had been in talks with Big Wiz for a joint album that was supposed to come with an accompanying tour, but somehow plans did not follow through.
