Wizkid And Burna Boy’s Samples On Davido’s “Timeless” Album Have Gotten Him In Trouble
Davido is under fire for reportedly using Wizkid and Burna Boy samples on his latest album. In addition, he received criticism after Wizkid FC discovered that the album’s song “Precision” sounds a lot like Wizkid’s 2014 duet with CDQ, “Nowo Soke.” As a result, Wizkid FC is requesting that Davido give Wizkid credit in the same way as Burna Boy gave Toni Braxton credit for using her music in “Last Last.”
On the other hand, Davido is being criticized by Burna Boy’s supporters for using a sample of his verse in DJ Jimmy Jatt’s “Chase” for the same “Precision.” Unlike Wizkid FC, Outsider is making fun of 30BG by claiming that their Favourite is a Burna knockoff. On Twitter, they boast that Burna Boy is the “Blueprint,” and Davido should embrace it.

As expected, OBO’s new project is raising all the dust it should, on and offline. Also, the artist comparisons among fans are a crazy situation that cannot be contained now. It didn’t help that Wizkid posted Davido’s album on his Twitter and Instagram pages, which meant it was time for the fans to let go of a nonexistent rivalry. Unfortunately, the memo has not been received by the fans. Funnily enough, the stars whose names are being pulled into the fan warfare could be chilling together, kicking their feet up with some fine liquor on rocks, and laughing at the online pandemonium.
