As Abdulmalik, the adopted son of superstar singer Davido, graduates from college, there is a sense of excitement in the Davido camp. ‘Man Like Abdul’ on IG, also known as Prince Abdulmalik Uthman, celebrated his most recent accomplishments on social media after receiving honours in engineering from Adeleke University. Abdulmalik’s graduation marks a significant milestone in his journey, showcasing his dedication and hard work throughout his college years. The proud moment reflects his achievements and highlights the support and guidance his adoptive father, Davido, provided in shaping Abdulmalik’s path to success.
The proud grandaunt posted a message of gratitude on his social media page to mark the completion of his university studies. Although it wasn’t an easy journey, he reiterated his appreciation for having made it in his post. Following the tragic passing of his father, Davido adopted Prince Uthman, the late Obama of DMW’s only biological child.
Obama served as Davido’s manager, a member of the DMW crew, and a close friend until his passing. After Obama DMW’s death in June 2021, Davido adopted Abdulmalik as his son. The young man couldn’t help but include a special message for his late father in his celebratory post and thanked his mother for being a wonderful mother to him.
