Fast-Rising Act, Khaid, Strongly Believes Odumodublvck Is Not His Competition

Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, better known as Khaid, a rising star in Nigerian music, has adamantly affirmed that he has accomplishments to brag about that are conspicuously absent from the resume of Hip Hop artist Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, well known as Odumodublvck.

Few weeks had passed since he got into a furious argument with the rapper on social media over their Headies nomination for Rookie of the Year when he made this claim during his guest appearance on a podcast. The “Jolie” singer declared outright that, despite Odumodublvck’s potential artistic aptitude, he cannot compete with him.

According to Khaid, he has several milestones and ‘flowers’ that the Declan Rice hitmaker has yet to obtain.

On Friday, July 21, Khaid and Odumodublvck had a heated online debate. The music artists, who are also nominees in the Rookie of the Year category of the 16th annual Headies Awards, fought about who deserved to win the plaque.

The dispute began when renowned Twitter user Asiwaju Lerry invited social media users to choose between Khaid and Odumodublvck for the honor. In response to the tweet, Khaid stated that the statistics and numbers speak for themselves, and that if people do the arithmetic, they would realize that he is deserving. Soon after, Odumodu retorted, “If I knock that your head.” Ouch.
