Shania Twain claims that flaunting her “new body” as she gets older has been “liberating.” The 57-year-old was open about how removing her top for the “Waking Up Dreaming” cover helped her overcome long-standing body image concerns. Twain posed for the cover image while wearing a cowboy hat and a pair of vibrant pointy-toe boots, concealing her naked chest with her arms.
The country-pop icon is no stranger to forging her path in the music business, despite the fact that the image upset some fans. Twain continued, vowing not to “regress” to her timid self after noticing her “courage” was “dulling.” However, many may not understand where Shania comes from and why she owns her self-confidence with every chance she gets.
