For Rolling Loud NYC 2022, Playboi Carti Invites Kanye West To Join Him Onstage

The majority of Kanye West’s interactions with supporters over the past few months have taken place through social media posts. In a rare interview earlier this week on Good Morning America, the fashion designer spoke candidly about everything from his recent disagreement with Gap to his relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

Ye’s admission that Sway had the solutions in 2013 when the radio DJ encouraged him to expand his Yeezy brand into his own brands quickly made him a popular topic after the interview. “I will go ahead and say that Sway had the answer,” said the “DONDA” rapper.

He shared the stage with Playboi Carti on Friday night (September 23) at Rolling Loud NYC 2022 during the rapper’s performance of “Magnolia.” As the masked rappers performed their smash song “Off The Grid” from Kanye’s tenth studio album, the crowd went wild. Even Playboi Carti jumped into the mosh pit amidst a crowd of supporters during the colorful concert.

The show follows the music festival’s decision to drop three drill rappers from the roster at the NYPD’s request. The New York police have previously taken acts off the Rolling Loud lineup because of “public safety concerns.”
