The Stirring Track is the Signature Tune for BBC Studio's Upcoming Planet Earth III, Narrated by Sir David Attenborough

In response to overwhelming public interest, Raye and Hans Zimmer have unveiled their evocative joint effort, “Mother Nature”. This track, now available on all major streaming platforms through Human Re Sources/The Orchard, was crafted specifically for the upcoming Planet Earth III series, narrated by the iconic Sir David Attenborough.

The song made its worldwide premiere on Greg James’s BBC Radio 1 morning program and was also featured in an extended preview of the eagerly awaited TV series. The trailer showcases mesmerizing footage of diverse wildlife from around the world, captured over a span of five years. Hans Zimmer, Raye, and the acclaimed composer group, Bleeding Fingers Music, collaborated on “Mother Nature”. The song, enriched by Raye’s heartfelt lyrics, delves into the planet’s wonder, allure, vulnerability, and tenacity, themes that resonate throughout the series. Dan Smith lends his voice to the track, with production helmed by Russell Emanuel.

Expressing her excitement, Raye shared, “Being a part of Planet Earth has been surreal. Collaborating with legends like David Attenborough and Hans Zimmer is beyond my wildest dreams. Raye, who recently enthralled audiences on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, has also launched a live album titled My 21st Century Symphony. This was recorded during her sold-out performance at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, where she was joined by The Heritage Orchestra and The Flames Collective youth gospel choir. The concert showcased her acclaimed debut album, My 21st Century Blues, earning her praise from major publications, with some comparing her to legends like Adele and Amy Winehouse.

Seven years post the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning Planet Earth II, the upcoming Planet Earth III promises to unveil the marvels of our world. The series, scored by Hans Zimmer, Jacob Shea, and Sara Barone, emphasizes the urgent need to conserve and rejuvenate nature. The concluding episode will spotlight the brave individuals worldwide dedicated to safeguarding our planet’s wildlife and vital ecosystems.
