Rappers, Denzel Curry, and NLE Choppa react as Kendrick Lamar drops new joint “The Heart Part 5”.
The last time we saw Kendrick as a lead act on a joint was in 2018. The rapper has social media abuzz since the release of his latest joint, “The Heart Part 5”. The “Humble” star last appeared as one of the featured Hip Hop performers at the Superbowl Halftime show this year. He appeared alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J Blige, and 50 Cent.
Kendrick also announced in April the title of his forthcoming project, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”. He has released the new joint “The Heart Part 5” while fans anticipate the album. The new song samples a Marvin Gaye’s song. He also dropped a music video along with it. The video features Lamar rapping while morphing into that of several Black American stars, including Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kanye West, Nipsey Hussle, and more.
Twitter has been abuzz since the song dropped. Several rappers, including Denzel Curry, NLE Choppa, and more have also reacted to it. Curry tweeted that it inspired him to improve his work, while Choppa called it “Masterpiece, writing”. “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” is expected to be a double album and will drop on May 13.
