Ghanaian music stars, Shatta Wale and King Promise, are among the star-studded singers that will play at the 2023 African Games’ opening ceremony. The 13th African Games, known as Accra 2023, have already begun in Ghana, but the opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024.

A few fun events are planned for the vibrant ceremony, which will take place at the recently finished University of Ghana Stadium. King Promise, the smash song “Terminator,” and award-winning dancehall performer Shatta Wale will share the stage.

South Africa’s Kamo Mphela will also be performing, along with a number of legendary figures in highlife music, such as Ebo Taylor and Pat Thomas.

The official costs for tickets to the 2023 African Games have been made public by Ghana’s Ministry of Youth and Sports. The range of ticket pricing is from GHc50 to GHc500, as stated by Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif during a press meeting on Monday, February 4, 2024.

In his opinion, customers may even have to pay extra if they wish to watch the different sports in the VVIP area. A number of sports will be played at the All African Games, which are frequently referred to be the continent’s Olympics. There will be competitions, skill demonstrations, and medal competitions between African athletes.
