Lil Wayne Throws A Star-Studded Bash To Celebrate His 40th Birthday

With a party worthy for rap royalty, Lil Wayne began the celebration of his 40th birthday. On Sunday night, Weezy dined with family and friends at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. Along with Wayne’s daughter Reginae, his boys, and mother Cita, a star-studded guest list also included YG, Yella Beezy, Mack Maine, Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, and Marcus Wiley.

When Keith Sweat sang his 1987 hit “Don’t Stop Your Love” for the birthday boy, Wayne couldn’t help but jump up from his chair and join in. Friends like Kanye West, Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott, NBA YoungBoy, Snoop Dogg, and Drake also paid tribute to the GOAT while making fun of Wayne’s most recent Instagram Live gaffe.

Drake said, “I ain’t shit without you,” while Missy praised Wayne for being a superstar. “I just want to thank you for giving us the timeless classics.”

The dishes on the menu included filet mignon, chicken parmesan, and roasted salmon. The drinks had names like “Best Drink Alive” and “Back That Drink Up,” which were inspired by Weezy. For dessert, a five-tier cake with a skateboard on top was offered to Tunechi. The day after today is Wayne’s actual birthday. He headlined an event in Beverly Hills on Saturday night and invited YG to perform.
