Frank Ocean has introduced a new look, but fans are not entertained, as the only ‘new’ thing they appear to be expecting for from the enigmatic singer is music.

Since he hasn’t produced a whole body of work since 2016’s Blonde, fans cried out for a new album in the comments section of his selfie, which he posted on Wednesday (January 31) and revealed he is growing out his hair.

Other remarks on The Neighborhood Talk’s photo post were not amused, while some people were just relieved to see the Odd Future singer.

Frank Ocean hasn’t released any music, but he’s still making history with streaming. The musician is now the most streamed independent artist of all time on Spotify, having topped 14 billion plays last month, according to Frank Ocean Updates, a fan account on X/Twitter.

Saluting Frank, fans jumped into the replies, speculating that he would make a comeback in 2024 with a new album. Although Frank Ocean hasn’t put out any new music since 2020, he was back in the studio in December and seemed to be having fun while giving fans a sneak peek at some new tracks.

The preview came around a month after Frank offered fans a sneak peek at another unreleased tune in November, fueling speculation about a new album from the former Odd Future member.
