Kid Cudi Marks His 40th Birthday With Clipse And The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Kid Cudi turned 40 years old this week, and the pizza-loving gang of Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey helped him celebrate.

In a video released by BNYX on Tuesday, the Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert producer admitted to fans that he “lost it” when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appeared on stage to the tune of Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday.”

As a Turtles fan, this is a great time to be. The debut of the highly acclaimed Mutant Mayhem movie, which is presently available for streaming on Paramount+, gave the franchise a significant boost last year. Next up this year is a brand-new Turtles game from Outright Games.

During the Tuesday birthday celebration, Clipse also performed. A video that went viral on social media featured Pusha T and No Malice singing their 2002 Birdman collaboration “What Happened to That Boy” and the recently remixed “Grindin'” by Lola Brooke, while Cudi and Jaden Smith danced close to the front of the stage.

The release date of Cudi’s most recent full-length album, Insano, was rescheduled from 2023 to earlier this month. A tentative book named CUDI, written by the two-time Grammy winner, would offer fans a close-up view of the “beautiful ride” he has experienced thus far in life.
