Mayorkun’s Lost Pendant Found As “N5M Reward” Is Expected
An unknown man has discovered Mayorkun’s pendant, an expensive piece of jewellery that saw Mayorkun place a bounty reward worth 5 million naira for its return. One of the pieces of jewellery had earlier been returned, even as the media had previously reported that the musician had promised to reward anyone who found the remaining valuable piece of jewellery following his Calabar show saga. The man returned the second pendant to HIT FM, a radio station situated in Calabar, claiming that he found it lying on the floor. Although the man’s identity is still unknown, his honesty and integrity are highly admirable, and many have praised his actions.
Cross River native Iyanya, a famous Nigerian singer and songwriter, played a significant role in locating the lost jewellery. He thanked the man who found the pendant and thanked the local community for their unending support. Mayorkun has yet to make any public comments on the matter, but many of his fans and well-wishers have expressed relief and joy that the precious item has been found.
