Mayorkun Throws Open A N5M Bounty Offer For Anyone Who Returns His Missing Jewelry

A huge N5 million reward has been issued by well-known Nigerian artist Adewale Emmanuel Mayowa, better known by his stage name Mayorkun, for the safe return of his stolen pendant. The musician, who just gave a beautiful performance in Calabar, had a sad event when his priceless chain was taken during the performance.

Mayorkun first pledged, understandably frustrated, that he would “probably never ever” go back to the state. Nevertheless, things got better when Iyanya, another famous singer, offered to help with the process of recovering the stolen items. And true to his word, one of the stolen chains has already been found.

In a new public statement, however, Mayorkun revealed the sizeable prize money that awaits anyone who can also return his iced-out pendant that is still missing. Mayorkun is actively participating in the hunt and has asked for help from the people of Calabar because he is determined to find his beloved jewelry.

Mayor thanked the people of Calabar people while asking for their assistance in the search. Making the situation bearable, Mayorkun also had a meeting with His Excellency Prince Bassey Otu, the Governor of Cross River State, who gave him promises of getting compensated and assured him Calabar people remain their hospitable selves.
