Megan Thee Stallion’s New Album Will Be Self-Funded After She Quit 1501 Certified Ent.

In the midst of her dispute with 1501 Certified Ent, Megan Thee Stallion has admitted that she is an independent artist and that she would be paying for her next album on her own alone. The Houston Hottie dropped the news that she was an independent artist for the first time on Instagram Live on Wednesday (October 11), shocking her followers.

Since recovering from the Tory Lanez shooting, Megan Thee Stallion has been teasing a comeback of epic proportions. Now, she has pledged to release what she has dubbed “act one” of her long-awaited return. The “Big Ol Freak” rapper posted a video to Twitter on Thursday (October 12), appearing to have vampire fangs.

Tina Snow looked to be displaying those fangs behind a green filter in the soundless video. Meg, meanwhile, teased her comeback on Instagram by using her grid to post three pictures that together read “Act One.” Sadly, that was the only thing Megan Thee Stallion was ready to hint at in relation to the brand-new song.

She didn’t say when the new music will be released or what the name of the upcoming tune would be. Megan Thee Stallion has previously hinted at a comeback to music. Her lead part in the upcoming A24 movie Dicks: The Musical comes with new music, and she recently released the title track from the film, “Out Alpha the Alpha.”
