Missy Elliott Set To Go On Her First-Ever Headlining Tour With Supporting Acts Busta Rhymes, Ciara, And Timbaland

Legendary American rapper, Missy Elliott has always been opposed to touring, but that will change in 2024!

The femcee’s career has been the epitome of “leave ’em wanting more.” The hip-hop legend, accompanied by a number of well-known opening artists, is set to tour 24 cities’ arenas this year. Remarkably, this will be her first headline tour since her career launched explosively in the 1990s.

Three people who are also immediately recognized to anyone who is familiar with Elliott’s career will be there to support her: Timbaland, Ciara, and Busta Rhymes. Commencing in Vancouver on July 4 and concluding in Rosemont, Illinois on August 22, the tour is known as “Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experience Tour.”

Shows on July 11 at L.A.’s Crypto Arena, August 9 at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center, and August 12 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center are some of the major stops on the itinerary. Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, Oakland, Seattle, Austin, Houston, Tampa, Baltimore, Montreal, and Toronto are among the other places she will visit on the trip.

Starring three of the four principals (apart from Timbaland, who was unable to attend the filming), the sci-fi themed clip, which was helmed by renowned music video director Dave Meyers, hinting at the tour on Monday. Live Nation and Scott-Young, CEO of Monami Entertainment, are collaborating to create the tour.
