Mobhad’s Family Issues Statement Addressing His Sudden Demise
The death of prominent Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, professionally known as Mohbad, has been confirmed by his family. It was previously reported that Mohbad died on Monday at the age of 27. Celebrities, fans, and ordinary Nigerians have continued to respond to the stunning news since it was made public.
The rapper’s family confirmed his death late Monday night via a statement posted on his verified Instagram account, revealing that he is definitely no longer with us. The family thanked everyone for their thoughts and support and asked the public to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
A member of Mohbad’s team has confirmed that the singer visited the hospital on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, to receive treatment for an infection he contracted as a result of an injury. He was then given an injection. According to the source, Mohbad lost consciousness shortly after receiving the injection and, regrettably, did not recover.
After the release of his iconic song Ko Po Ke in 2020, Mohbad aka Imole experienced tremendous success. The rapidly growing singer was signed by Naira Marley’s Marlian Records in 2019.
