According to the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Command, the nurse who treated Mohbad before his death is now the prime suspect in the alleged murder case. The singer had sustained an injury during a scuffle with his childhood friend, Primeboy, at a branded experiential marketing event in Ikorodu. Instead of seeking immediate medical attention at a hospital, his friends and handlers opted for a quack nurse to treat the wound. This nurse, who was contacted by Ayobami Sadiq, a close friend of Mohbad, administered a cocktail of intravenous injections to the singer at his Lekki residence on September 11, 2023.
Tragically, Mohbad collapsed shortly after receiving the injections. In a state of panic, his friends rushed him to the hospital, only to be informed that he was already deceased upon arrival. Adding to the distress, a video of Mohbad’s lifeless body was hastily shared online before his family could be informed of the tragic news.
The entire incident paints a grim picture of the choices made in moments of crisis. Despite having the means to access top-tier medical care, the singer’s life was tragically cut short due to a series of unfortunate decisions.
