Montreux Jazz Festival 2024: Raye, Kraftwerk, James Arthur, The National, PJ Harvey Lead Line-up

The prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival has unveiled the lineup for its highly anticipated 58th edition, set to take place on the beautiful Lake Geneva shoreline in Switzerland between July 5 and 20, 2024. The festival boasts a genuinely diverse and impressive lineup of artists from across the globe, including electronic pioneers Kraftwerk, American indie rockers The National, and rising British pop star Raye. The festival’s main stages will feature a stunning range of musical talent, with performances by iconic acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Alice Cooper, PJ Harvey, and Massive Attack, as well as newer artists like Jessie Ware, Janelle Monáe, Michael Kiwanuka, James Arthur, and many others. The festival will also offer 11 free stages, including the serene Lake House, showcasing various up-and-coming musicians and established acts.

This year’s festival will have a new layout in Montreux, as construction work on the Music and Convention Center, which typically hosts the event’s main stages, is ongoing. The festival’s opening day artists for the Lake Stage have yet to be confirmed. The Casino Stage will offer a unique and intimate setting for artists to present special projects that blur the lines between jazz, afrobeats, pop, and rap. The lineup for this stage includes legendary songstress Dionne Warwick, influential rapper André 3000, and rising stars like Paloma Faith, Noname, Mahalia, Brittany Howard, Loreen, D4vd, Tyla, and Thee Sacred Souls.

Former Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason will add to the festival’s already impressive lineup with a performance of his Saucerful of Secrets project on July 13 at the Casino Stage. Tickets for the Montreux Jazz Festival 2024 go on sale to the public on Friday, April 19 at 11 am BST and are sure to sell out fast.
