Kwesi Arthur Inks Music Distribution Deal With Tieme Music

Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur, has established a fresh partnership with Ghanaian distributor Tieme Music to distribute his new album, This Is Not the Tape III, across a number of digital service providers. Founded in 2022, Tieme Music’s mission is to assist musicians in obtaining the appropriate distribution channels for their work on a global scale.

Along with Ivorian artist Himra, the company has so far found success working with a variety of local talent, including as Jay Bahd, Reggie Osei, Kwaku DMC, Skyface SDW, Ko-Jo Cue, Beeztrap KOTM, and Xlimkid. The rapper’s 2022 album Son of Jacob was followed by the nine-track This Is Not the Tape III, which made its premiere on January 17 only on the direct-to-fan platform.

Kwesi Arthur stated at the time that the goal of the album’s release was to help him better connect with his audience while giving indie musicians like him back creative autonomy. According to Tieme Music CEO Franck Osei, the collaboration ushers in a new phase for the business, and they are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase Kwesi Arthur’s extraordinary ability to a global audience.

Kwesi Arthur, on his part, expressed his admiration for Tieme’s quick achievements in the Ghanaian music scene. His song “Jungle Music Pt. 1,” featuring IDK, will be the first to be released as part of the new collaboration.
