RAYE, Charli XCX, The Last Dinner Party, Others Lined Up For BBC Radio One Big Weekend 2024

The BBC Radio One’s Big Weekend 2024 lineup has been expanded with the addition of more artists. RAYE, Charli XCX, and The Last Dinner Party will headline the festival. The event will occur from Friday, May 24, to Sunday, May 26, at Stockwood Park in Luton. On March 18, the organizers announced the first set of artists scheduled to perform on the opening night. They have now shared the lineup for Saturday, which includes RAYE as the headliner for the Main Stage. RAYE’s headlining performance follows her record-breaking number of wins at the BRITs earlier this month. Meanwhile, pop icon Charli XCX will be headlining the New Music Stage, ahead of announcing details of her new album ‘Brat’ and releasing the considerable lead single ‘Von Dutch’.

Apart from RAYE and Charli XCX, the Main Stage will feature other outstanding performers like Aitch, Griff, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, Mabel, and Joel Corry on Saturday. The Last Dinner Party, the BRIT Rising Star Award winners, and former NME cover stars will perform at the New Music Stage. The Last Dinner Party and Charli XCX will be joined by Alfie Templeman, Caity Baser, Cat Burns, Dylan, Tems, and Shygirl.

Yesterday, the festival organizers confirmed that Chase & Status, Becky Hill, and Rudimental would lead the festival’s opening day. Other performers who have been announced include Ella Henderson, Diplo, Eric Prydz, Kenya Grace, Sonny Fodera, and more.

Tickets for the festival are priced at £29.50 (plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket) and will go on sale on Thursday, March 21, at 5 pm GMT. You can purchase the tickets here. Further acts are expected to be announced shortly. For the first time, all four stages – Radio 1 Main Stage, Radio 1’s Future Sounds, Radio 1 Dance, and BBC Introducing – will run across all three days of the festival. In addition, BBC Radio 1 has reassured the public that they are working closely with Luton Council to ensure the festival is a safe and secure environment for all attendees.
