Oladips Is Accused By Social Media Users Of Staging His Death Out Of Jealousy For Mohbad

Oladipupo Oladimeji, also known by his stage name Oladips, is a Nigerian rapper who has come under fire for faking his death in order to push his most recent album. Oladips was declared dead on Tuesday, November 14, as confirmed by his management on Wednesday.

The singer reportedly passed away while traveling to the hospital at approximately 10:14 p.m. But on Thursday night, November 16, the rapper’s close friend Qdot came out to reveal that the rapper was in fact still alive and that his management had only staged the incident to promote his new album.

In light of this, a bunch of online users responded to this behavior, expressing their anger and disappointment at the rapper and his management for playing on their feelings. They did, however, add that the rapper must have been envious of the postmortem success that followed the former Marlian signee Mohbad, who had passed on a few months ago under dubious circumstances.

Other users, however, have insisted on taking the news of his passing seriously and performing the required funeral rites and candle-lighting procession. Since Oladips was reported dead by his management, his fellow industry comrades like Blaqbonez, N6, Yhemo Lee and Zlatan, have mourned the supposedly late rapper on their various social media platforms.
