Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Adekunle Gold has shown some kindness by paying a visit to fellow singer Khaid, who was admitted to the hospital last month after suffering internal hemorrhage.
Due to a widely shared video of Khaid in pain on a hospital bed while receiving care days ago, his stay in the hospital became widespread. Adekunle Gold showed his support for Khaid by going to the hospital on Wednesday, May 8, despite previous internet feuds, especially with Samklef over matters concerning his wife, Simi.
The singer was seen smiling and giving words of support by Khaid’s bedside. Adekunle Gold’s visit has caused many people to reconsider their initial views, proving the reality of Khaid’s plight. Some had previously dismissed Khaid’s illness as a publicity ploy, doubting its severity.
Prior to AG’s visit, popular skit maker, Carter Efe, who is also a close friend to Sydney Talker, a fellow skit maker and Khaid’s record label boss, shared a video on his X account, showing improvements in Khaid’s health. The video displayed the singer walking into his hospital room with the aid of crutches.
The short clip gave fans some relief and also cleared up queries on how the singer was currently faring. We hope Khaid makes a speedy recovery.
