Omah Lay’s “Soso” Records The Most Plays On Nigerian Radio In 2023

Omah Lay launched his debut album, “Boy Alone,” in 2022, which included the popular single, “Soso,” after wowing fans with two incredible EPs.

“Soso” shot to popularity on streaming services and radio in Nigeria over a year after it was released. According to TurnTable Charts’ ranking, “Soso” was the song that Nigerians listened to on the radio the most in 2023.

Top of the list, which features some of the biggest songs of 2023, is this song with 1.74 billion impressions. Spyro’s remix of “Who’s Your Guy” with Tiwa Savage comes at second place on the list with 1.53 billion impressions. Third place goes to Asake’s huge hit song “Lonely At the Top,” with 1.46 billion impressions, followed by Victony & Tempoe’s “Soweto,” in fourth place with 1.43 billion.

“Feel,” by Davido, completes the top 5 with 1.42 billion. With his Grammy-nominated tune “Unavailable,” featuring Musa Keys at number eight after racking up 1.25 billion impressions, Davido is the only artist with two songs in the top 10.

Also, in terms of who was streamed the most in 2023, Omah Lay came in at number four. His total streams were 301 million. Omah Lay reworked his explosive song Soso in May 2023.
