Pheelz Describes How Rema’s Tweet Impacted His Life

Pheelz brings us along on his drawn-out journey to stardom.

Pheelz developed into one of Afrobeats’ most inventive brains gradually after beginning as a teenage music producer under the tutelage of Nigerian music producer and label head ID Cabasa. Pheelz recently discussed his journey from being ID Cabasa’s understudy to becoming an Afrobeats hitmaker in an interview with Moni Talks.

Pheelz stated that he chose to give it a go during the COVID time when questioned about the incident that altered his career path from producer to musician. Pheelz went on to say that he spotted a tweet from Rema during the COVID time that completely altered his life.

“Rema tweeted ‘the world is on pause for you to catch up’ and I felt that was a message to me personally,” Pheelz confessed after publicly sharing the incident for the first time. Pheelz revealed that after seeing the tweet, he had an epiphany and told himself that, with all of his talent still intact, he couldn’t afford to pass away.

Pheelz has achieved enormous commercial success since he began releasing music. 2022’s top singles included his massive hit track “Finesse,” with BNXN. With Davido, he co-wrote the hit song “Electricity,” and his EP “Pheelz Good” made it to Apple Music Nigeria’s Top 10 album chart.
