Rema Announced As A Guest Feature On Jason Derulo’s Forthcoming “Nu King” Album

Remy boy and the iconic Jason Derulo have joined talents to create something special.

On his upcoming album “Nu King,” American musician Jason Derulo will collaborate with Divine Ikubor, better known internationally as Rema, a Nigerian singer. Along with the full list of other featured artists, which included well-known singer Michael Bublé, Meghan Trainor, French Montana, Tesher, Nicki Minaj, and lead vocalist of Maroon 5 Adam Levine, Jason Derulo made the announcement on Instagram.

The album is slated to be released on February 16, 2024. Furthermore, the album announcement caused some controversy after its cover art was revealed. Many comments on Derulo’s Instagram post suggest that the image of him donning a crown of thorns is a mocking replica of Jesus Christ.

Rema, on the other hand, has previously collaborated with Derulo on the popular Tiktok song, “Ayo Girl.” Rema has also been nominated multiple times for the iHeart Radio Awards. The nominations for the music prize were revealed, and the African music scene won. Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, Tyla, and Wizkid are among the candidates.

Notably, Rema was nominated in an astounding five different categories. Songs of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best New Artist (Pop), Best African Music Artist, and a brand-new Pop Song of the Year category are among his nominations.
