Selena Gomez has decided to shut up rumour-mongers who are peddling talks that she had a beef with Timothée Chalamet and Kylie at the Golden Globes Awards. The “Lose You to Love Me” singer took her time as she revealed what her actual chatter with Taylor Swift was at the event.

Following a ton of drama, the “Only Murders in the Building” star spoke up. The majority of the controversy suggested that the hot tea she gave Taylor at Sunday’s award event was about Kylie and Timmy. Many online users also speculated that the rumored gist between the women was related to Timothée and Kylie; some even implied that Kylie had refused Selena’s request to take a selfie with her date for the evening. However, depending on who you ask, it sounds like the rumors were much more private and hot than that, going by Selena’s response. Selena made an effort to dispel the reports once and for all by commenting on an Instagram post about the speculations, as she frequently does, saying,

“Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s anyone[s] business.”
