Reno Omokri Supports Muslims In Response To Controversial Davido’s Signee Music Video

The controversial Reno Omokri, a former presidential adviser and sociopolitical commentator from Nigeria, has warned David Adeleke, better known as Davido, about the contentious music video of his signee, Logos Olori. On Friday morning, Davido was seen releasing the music video to his Twitter account.

However, the video showed several individuals wearing white clothing praying in the manner of Muslims before breaking into dance. On his part, Davido’s signee imitated the Muslim practice of praying while seated on a building’s roof. The video, however, caused a stir online since some social media users charged Davido with insulting Islamic rituals and beliefs.

Omokri stated in a post on Instagram in response to the development that non-Muslims must respect the sensibilities of the Muslim Ummah. According to him, it is crucial to address and make amends for those who are harmed when ignorant individuals disrespect Muslims’ sacred ideals.

He also advised Davido to make amends as soon as possible so that the matter may be resolved. Ali Nuhu, a seasoned Kannywood actor, also voiced his disapproval of the music video, claiming that it was against Islam.

In order to excel in their many disciplines, performers, in his opinion, should learn to respect the beliefs, customs, and cultures of others. The gifted actor requested Davido to take the music video down and apologize for offending the entire Muslim ummah.
