The contentious reality show Real Housewives of Lagos has drawn criticism from celebrity designer Toyin Lawani. She said that she was still shocked that she was on the show in a tweet. The show, she added, was “a joke.” Her words in the tweet reflected her disdain.

Remember how the reality show Real Housewives of Lagos, which stars from Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, accused her of “bullying” in the ongoing season 2? In defense of herself, Ojo asserted in a statement published on her Instagram profile that the program was scripted and that, although she had chosen to play the “villain,” her co-stars were giving the impression that the show was based on “real life.”
