Roddy Ricch stepped to the stage to perform what could be his next single.
Roddy Ricch has been tantalizing fans with the announcement of his highly awaited album Feed the Streets 3 since releasing Live Life Fast in 2021 to mixed reviews. While fans wait for further information on the project, the rapper performed “Real Talk,” one of his upcoming songs, at Hot 97’s Summer Jam.
In addition to showing off his new work to those in attendance, the Compton native turned to Instagram to share a series of photos from what appears to be the set of his music video for “Real Talk.” “REAL TALK! let’s get straight to it,” Roddy captioned the photo.
Despite the fact that the “Big Stepper” artist stated that new music is on the way, his revelation was overshadowed by his legal troubles. The rapper was detained by the NYPD for several gun charges an hour before his Governor’s Ball performance, prompting the festival to cancel his show.
The rapper was able to perform at Summer Jam the next day, where he led a “F*ck the NYPD” chant in addition to playing “Real Talk.” The prosecutor’s charges were later dismissed. Watch “Real Talk” in action in the video below.
